Perceiving Cultural Heritage Through Digital Technologies

The aim of this special issue is to collect interdisciplinary studies on the complex phenomena that take place during the aesthetic and synesthetic involvement of human observers in the perception of cultural heritage mediated by virtual and augmented reality and other forms of multimedia technologies. The objective is to create a snapshot of the current state of the art of transdisciplinary methodological approaches.
